I’m really getting backed-up on blogging!  I’ll be posting a few weddings the next few weeks to hopefully make up.

But for now, here is Pat and Natalie’s engagement session from a few weeks back.  Since it’s been so hot this June, we decided to get up and take some pictures at sunrise to help beat the heat!  I’ve got to say, I’m a big fan of early morning shoots – a little cooler tones in the sky, and the dew looks great outlining the grass.  Oh, and not to mention it was 78 instead of 98.

It’s always fun getting to shoot for friends!  It’s also fun to try new things like an all black and white post.  For those who’ve followed me for a while know I pretty much stick to color images with very few black and whites.  Not that there’s anything wrong with black and white images, I just really love color!

This was a first for me…I got to photograph a family member!  Betsy is my cousin and I was pumped when she asked me to take a few shots of her and Jered.  They’re getting married soon and I’m shooting their wedding as well.  They both when to Arkansas Tech (although they didn’t start dating till afterward) so we decided to go and shoot around Russellville (aka Russvegas).
