A couple of my best friends got married about a month back.
I love shooting my friends’ weddings.
Congrats guys and we love you!
I’m really getting backed-up on blogging! I’ll be posting a few weddings the next few weeks to hopefully make up.
But for now, here is Pat and Natalie’s engagement session from a few weeks back. Since it’s been so hot this June, we decided to get up and take some pictures at sunrise to help beat the heat! I’ve got to say, I’m a big fan of early morning shoots – a little cooler tones in the sky, and the dew looks great outlining the grass. Oh, and not to mention it was 78 instead of 98.
Here are just a few images from their shoot.
I recently stopped by my neighborhood antique store and picked up a cheap Wardflex II Twin Lens Reflex camera (circa 1957). I was a little worried the shutter speed would be a bit off but luckily it worked perfectly!
Here are a few images with two different types of film.
(I played with the levels a little on these images, but that’s it)
