you run out of toilet paper…

four days later…

you buy more…

It was 24 degrees this morning at my house…not a big deal really…but I hate cold cars. So I went out a little early and decided to start my car so it could warm up. I ran back inside to get some things and lock stuff up.

When I returned…I pulled the handle to my car…it didn’t open…

yup…lock my keys in my car with the car running…
yup…lock the door to the house behind me…

all of a sudden, 24 degrees got a lot colder…

no matter how mature you think you are…or how “on your own” you think you are…something like this happens to remind you that you aren’t, and your parents come with a key to bail you out…(thanks mom and dad)

luckily I had my computer to capture how exactly I felt about the situation…

(that’s me angry about the situation)

With the presidential race (22 months out) already “heating up”…it provoked some thoughts. Over the last few years I’ve wondered more and more about Christians involvement in politics.

As a Christian…do you sit back and let the government go in a direction that is against what you believe?…

or

As a Christian…do you try to impose your beliefs on the whole country?
